About the event
Enjoy a scenic 7km circular hike taking in the famous Aira Force waterfall and the open fell views of Gowbarrow Park. With a 400m elevation gain, this route offers a steady, enjoyable challenge suitable for most fitness levels.
We will be meeting at the gym for 6:30am (due to the 2 hour 15 min drive). We will be stopping off at our favourite Tebay services for breakfast on the way up.
Route Overview:
Begins near Aira Force and follows well-marked woodland paths
Passes the impressive Aira Force waterfall and viewing bridges
Gradual climb onto Gowbarrow Fell, offering panoramic views over Ullswater
